The bag has a closed capacity of 48 liters and an open capacity of 70 liters. The bag is custom tailored to Alex’s measurements.

De La Paz Coffee Delivery Panniers

March 2, 2010

Jason from De La Paz asked me to make some panniers for his awesome custom Hunter delivery bike. The bike Has an extended extra-cycle style rear end and Jason wanted some industrial bags to take the abuse of being slogged around San Francisco delivering coffee on a daily basis.

Simple black on black 1000d corura bags, reinforced base and back panel.

two massive 2 inch buckle closure, upper compression strap.

180z vinyl fully floating liner with taped seems, roll top closure reinforced with webbing trim.

The bags are built with a sheet of ABS plastic at the back, sandwiched between the inner and outer bags. The custom fittings for the hunter frame fit into the plastic so as not to penetrate the liner.

Ginger has been using these bags for the last couple of months and they are proving watertight through the recent inclement weather.
